I tried different things including disconnecting some computers and reconnecting them, uninstall Excel for Mac 2011 and install the new version instead (2016), uninstall and re-install Dropbox on my MacBook, re-index my dropbox tree. When I do the same on my PC, everything is fine, too. When I turn off my dropbox, everything works fine. Instead, it changes the value of cell A1 within B by D6. I try to add a formula, even very simple, linking one cell of A to one cell of B.įor example, in A, cell A1, I type "=" and go to "windows" to select file B, go to for example cell D6 and when I click on this cell, Excel seems to forget that I'm coming from A, and does not replace A / A1 by Sheet1!$D$6. I have two files in my dropbox tree, say A.xlsx and B.xlsx. Plus, it’s easier to identify relevant apps for your files, so you can get to your tools faster. For a couple of days now, without changing anything to the versions of Excel for Mac and Dropbox on my MacBook Air (Yosemite), I have a new strange issue. Create, edit, and share Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides and Microsoft Office files, and communicate via Slack and Zoomall from your desktop.
